Turmeric powder --- a pinch
Coriander leaves (optional)
Oil --- 2 spoons
Red chilly --- teared
Chop onions and tomatoes into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add & Toast seasoning one by one like urad dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and red chilly.
Add curry leaves and chopped green chilies.
Stir fry till the green chilies get white spots.
Add chopped onions to the pan.
Fry it till they turn to transparent colour.
Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, and enough salt.
Cover it with lid.
Stir it up occasionally.
Turn off the flame when the tomatoes become tender.
Transfer the stuff to a bowl.
Let it come to room temperature.
Add enough curd to it.
Mix it well.
Taste the salt … if needed adjust it.
Garnish it with coriander leaves.
We like this recipe very much. It is delicious and easy to prepare too.
