Ingredients:
Potatoes --- 3
Big Onion --- ½
Tomato --- 1 small
Green Chilies --- medium 4
Turmeric powder --- pinch
Salt --- to taste
Besan --- 1 Table spoon
For Seasoning:
Urud dal --- ½ tea spoon
Mustard seeds --- ½ tea spoon
Cumin seeds --- ¼ tea spoon
Whole Red chilly --- ½ chopped
Curry leaves --- 5-6
Process:
Peel, wash, and chip potatoes into cubes and put them in water till they cover. So that the potatoes won't be discolored.
Chop onion into slices.
Chop green chilies too.
Take a pressure cooker and add seasoning.
Add all the chopped ones into the pressure cooking.
Add 2/3 cup of water.
Add turmeric powder and enough salt.
Keep it for 2 vigils.
Remove the cooker from heat.
Wait for 15 minutes until the pressure goes away and open the lid.
Meanwhile take a small bowl and add besan gram flour and mix it with water without any lumps.
Add this mixed besan to the cooker and cook it in medium high for 5-10 minutes.
