Serving for: 2 people.
Ingredients:
Basmati Rice --- 1 cup
Water --- 1 ½ cup
Mixed Frozen Vegetables (carrots, beans, peas, corn) --- 1 lb packet
Onion --- ¼ of the big onion
Oil --- 3 tblsn
Cloves --- 8-10
Cinnamon Stick --- 1
Cardamom --- 3 pods
Black Pepper --- 1 tblsn (50-60 no.’s)
Lemon Juice--- 3-5 drops
Salt --- as per taste
Process:
Clean and Soak basmati rice in water.
Chop onions into slices or pieces.
Heat 3 tblsn of oil in a pan.
Add chopped onions. Fry till translucent.
Clean and add frozen vegetables.
Fry for 10 minutes on medium-high heat.
Turn off the heat.
Take 1 ½ cup of water in a rice cooker.
Add 3 pods of cardamom, 1 cinnamon stick, 8-10 cloves, crushed black pepper , and squeeze 3-5 drops of lemon juice.
Keep it for a boil.
When you find bubbles … add cleaned & soaked basmati rice, and fried vegetables to the rice cooker.
Add enough salt.
Mix well.
Cook till done.
Mix nicely.
Serve with raitha.

hi sailaja ,i am preethi from hyd. i have some doubt regarding ur slide show and all . i also created a blog recently . offcourse its under construction.my doubt is u created slide show and how did u place it in ur first page. becoz i did but i got it as a posting. so if i post new one slide is going as a old post. anyway see my blog once and reply me.

ReplyDeleteI got ur doubt. Go to Customise -> Layout -> Add a page element -> HTML/Javascript. In tht HTML/Javascript paste the html code of the slide. And arrange the page element wherever u want.
