Serving:
As a side dish you can serve this for 6-8 people.
As a main dish you can serve for 4 people.

Ingredients:
Basmati Rice --- 1 1/2 Measuring cups
Green chilies --- 8 Small size --- Chopped
Onion ---1 big one --- Chopped into cubes or sliced
Oil --- 7 spoons
Butter --- ½ stick (You can even use Ghee instead of butter)
Cloves (Lavangalu) --- 8
Cardamoms --- 2 pods
Cinnamon sticks --- 1 whole
Bay leaves --- 3
Ginger Garlic paste --- 1/4th spoon
Frozen Mixed Vegetables --- 1 full Lb packet
Frozen Lima Beans --- 1/2 lb
Garam masala powder --- 3/4th spoon
Salt --- as per taste
Water --- 1 3/4 th cup
Process:
Clean Basmati Rice twice with water. Soak them in water. keep it aside.

Heat 5 spoons of oil in a deep big pan.
After heating the oil add ½ stick of butter and heat it.

Add and Fry 8 cloves (lavangalu), 2 cardamoms (elachi), 1 whole cinnamon stick and 3 bay leaves.
Add chopped green chilies and fry them till they get white spots.
Add chopped onions and fry them till they turn to transparent color.
Add 1/2 spoon of ginger garlic paste and fry for a while.
Add 1 packet full of mixed vegetables.
Add enough salt to absorb that to the vegetables.
Add 3/4th spoon of garam masala.
Now add the soaked rice by draining water.
Fry them for 5 minutes.
Transfer the stuff to a rice cooker.
Add 2 1/4 cup of water.
Add salt and adjust now itself.
Cook the rice in the rice cooker.
Now you can taste the spicy vegetable palov.
