Vegetable Dal Soup


Recipe Source:

Rajitha (My Co-sis)

Ingredients:


A fistful of toordal
1 onion
1 tomato
2 carrots
1 potato
1/4th cup of green peas
1 capsicum (deseeded) (optional)
A few strands of coriander leaves (optional)
Salt to taste
1 tsp of ghee
Black pepper powder to taste

Process:


Pressure cook onion, tomato, carrots, potato, capsicum, greepeas, coriander leaves with some water for around 10 whistles. Bring them to room temperature and grind them to a smooth paste.


Add 1 tsp of ghee into a pan then add the paste to the pan. Add water if required. Add enough salt. Bring it to a boil. Add black pepper powder. And serve hot.
